EIFL renews agreement with Taylor & Francis
EIFL has renewed an agreement with Taylor & Francis, for a year until 31 December 2024. The agreement includes discounted access to journals and waived and discounted article processing charges (APCs).
DISCOUNTED ACCESSThe agreement includes discounted access to 1,982 journals. Libraries in 20 EIFL countries are eligible for discounted access to the Taylor & Francis Science & Technology, and Social Science & Humanities Journals Collections

Teresa Hackett, EIFL Copyright and Libraries Programme Manager, will moderate a panel at the ‘Unlocking Knowledge Conference’ which will bring together EU policymakers, academics and civil society to discuss how to enable knowledge institutions to play a bigger part in creating a flourishing information ecosystem.

EIFL has joined the Open Science for Ukrainian Higher Education System (Open4UA) Erasmus+ project, which aims to reform the higher education system by prioritising open science to advance the growth of Ukraine’s knowledge-driven economy for the post-war recovery.

Online safety: Innovation Award
Prelog City Library and Reading Room, a small library staffed by just two librarians serving the town of Prelog in Croatia, is making a huge impact across the country with its ‘GEL - Guerrilla Education for Librarians’ programme. GEL is an online safety training programme targeting librarians, with a strong training-of-trainers component enabling librarians who have undergone the training to pass on their knowledge to the communities they serve.
