Copyright and Access to Knowledge in Malawi: Issues and developments
EIFL will organize an online information session with EIFL’s partner, the Malawi Library and Information Consortium (MALICO), on copyright, libraries and access to knowledge. The topics will include the basics, such as the purpose of copyright and how it affects library activities, what libraries in Malawi can do under the Copyright Act (2016), and how Nigeria’s new copyright law might serve as an inspiration for future copyright reform.
